Mumbai:
The match against Rajasthan Royals was a close but the fielding could have been a bit better, Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant said after registering a win in an Indian Premier League (IPL) match here on Wednesday. Fifties from Mitchell Marsh (89 runs) and opener David Warner (52 not out) and a 144-run partnership for the second wicket between the two helped Delhi Capitals beat Rajasthan Royals by eight wickets in 11 balls.
After the match, Pant said, 'It was close to the 'perfect' match because I believe there is always room for improvement. Our fielding could have been a little better. On a pitch like this where there is little turn, the result can go either way. He said, 'I am happy that I bowled first. I thought 140-160 was a good score which I had said at the time of toss also. We reached there. Luck is always in your hands. You can give your 100 percent. But it was a close match. ,
